The steak marinated so it was tender and flavorful. I know you don't typically go to a Mexican restaurant and have sweet tea but this was the best tea I have had in years. The waitstaff was friendly and accomodating. I was so glad I stopped into this spot and only wished I lived closer so I could visit often. ”

“ I'm reading all the 1 and 2 star reviews and scratching my head. We've been going here for several years with no real issues (except a chile rellano that was cold in the middle, but was replaced immediately with a hot one). I learned my lesson about going on a Friday evening... the place is always packed and just too busy for my comfort. But during the week, especially for lunch, it's one of the best places in town. I highly recommend their chile rellanos. They are literally the best I've found (except for one made by an authentic Mexican friend, which is who turned me on to them), even in New Mexico! My husband loves their refried beans (more than any other local Mexican eatery). We've eaten in as well as called ahead for pick up orders. Service has never been a problem, except, as I said, on the Friday evening when they were insanely busy and there was a line of customers waiting for tables. But even then, my server was prompt, courteous, and friendly. ”
